Living in Florida

WHY LIVE IN FLORIDA

Introduction

You may already be aware that Florida is a fantastic holiday destination—how can you not enjoy Mickey Mouse, sunny beaches, and Miami’s vibrant nightlife? But did you know it’s also a great place to live? I’ve had the good fortune to live in Florida for nearly my whole life. Over the years, I’ve seen firsthand all of the reasons why Florida is such an incredible place to live:

The weather

If you’ve ever been to Florida, you’re aware of how lovely the weather is. The sun shines brightly every day. There are extremely few cloudy days, and frost never occurs! Summer may be hot and humid, but that does not imply it will be cloudy. Florida may be quite rainy and stormy during these months; there aren’t many dry days in a succession, even if it doesn’t rain for 10 hours straight! So, no matter when you decide to move to Florida (or even if you already live here), we guarantee that you’ll enjoy sunshine every day—even when the temperature drops below freezing at night!

Beaches

Beaches are great places to relax.

The beaches in Florida are some of the most beautiful in the world, and they are open all year. The simple act of lying in the sand is calming enough, but there are plenty of other activities to do at a beach! You may swim or snorkel, play volleyball or Frisbee with your kids, or build sandcastles…the options are unlimited. And if you’re feeling very energized? Run along the water’s edge! Beaches in Florida are also excellent for exercise. There’s no shortage of activities to be active while admiring our beautiful sights, from walking to running to biking (and even skating!). Whether you’re a professional athlete or just trying to get back in shape, there’s something here for you!

Easy living

Florida is a very laid-back state. People are friendly and easy to talk to, the weather is mild and comfortable, the cost of living is lower than in other states, the crime rate is low and Florida offers many opportunities for retirees.

Retirement communities

Florida is a popular place for retirees, as it offers many of the amenities that make life easier for people who are older. There are lots of golf courses, hospitals, universities, and other places to live in Florida.

And if you want to retire in Florida but don’t want to move there permanently, you can still enjoy all these things by spending part of your time there on vacation!

Disney World

You probably know that Disney World is a popular tourist destination. But what you may not know is that Disney World is also the most magical place on Earth, and possibly in the universe as well.

First of all, it’s located in Orlando, FL—a city known for its warm weather and beautiful beaches. This means that while you’re enjoying your vacation at one of the parks (or even if you’re just walking around town), you can also enjoy endless sunshine and blue skies! And if those aren’t enough reasons for you to live there… let’s talk about their parks themselves. There are four theme parks: Animal Kingdom, Epcot Center (which is where I got married), Hollywood Studios (where I like going because they have great popcorn), and Magic Kingdom Park. Each park has something new and exciting for everyone to do anytime; whether it be rides or shows or games or animals… there really isn’t anything better than spending time with your family doing fun things together!
