Beyond her professional achievements, Lisa cherishes her role as a wife and
mother. Married to Jay Souza, the USF Recreation Director, for 17 years, they
have built a loving family with two children, ages 14 and 10, who attend school in the New Tampa area. Lisa and Jay's decision to move to Florida was motivated by their desire to raise their children in paradise and the place they envision retiring to, creating a true sense of home and belonging for their family.
In her free time, Lisa enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and jet skiing, as well as practicing yoga and lounging at the beach with her loved ones. Family movie nights and snuggling up on the couch with her children bring her immense joy. Lisa's enthusiasm for life extends to her new furry family
member, Luna, a bernedoodle.
