Andrea De La Cruz
A real estate professional is expected to be equal parts consultant, coach, counselor, confidante, expert, executor, and entrepreneur acting in their clients’ best interests. With her professional qualifications and experience, Andrea De La Cruz is all of those things.
Born in Puerto Rico, raised in New York City, and a Florida resident since 2005, Andrea is fluent in Spanish with keen communication skills and a talent for interpersonal connection. After earning her master’s degree in human resources from Florida International University, she became an adjunct professor and a career coach. Being an office manager for a real estate developer piqued her interest in real estate — and, seeing her potential, the company paid for her classes to become a licensed Realtor®.
Andrea obtained her real estate license in 2006 and hasn’t looked back since. Diving headlong into her new passion, she eventually closed sales valued at over $4 million, for which she earned the Million Dollar Club designation at her previous brokerage. In a similar vein, Andrea enjoys helping investors build their portfolios. Particularly, she has extensive experience assisting clients in purchasing second homes near the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.
Andrea’s organizational skills and abilities in community engagement, networking, and career consulting mesh seamlessly with her real estate work as she cultivates clients and builds mutually beneficial, long-term relationships. She especially enjoys empowering women, whether they’re buying, selling, or investing. They, in turn, can easily trust a woman who completed her graduate degree while running a household and caring for two — now three — young boys.
In her spare time, Andrea loves to travel and pursue her photography avocation by shooting personal branding photography, even volunteering her services for her church. She says she loves documenting life through her lens so much she would do it for free.
